A dark opaque blue. Work in an oxidizing flame to prevent greying. Heat gently and slowly to prevent boiling. It is heat and flame sensitive. Because the color is so intense, it must be worked in an oxidizing flame. If the flame is not oxidizing enough, the color will develop grey-brown streaks.
