A very rich transparent green - which develops a faint fine blue tone under a strong oxidizing flame. With a neutral flame, the surface color becomes opaque while the interior shows a whole palette of colors from light brown to blue. Be careful not to work with a reduced flame - otherwise an opaque red will appear.
