Can vary from translucent to a milky semi-opaque color - depending on how it is processed. Do not process at too high a temperature. With a soft reducing flame - the color remains more opaque. This should also prevent foaming and boiling. Becomes transparent when processed with high heat - but can return to its original color (milk green) upon cooling/annealing.
