This is a saturated version of NS-14 Irrid and creates similar effects. When worked in an oxidizing flame, the glass produces distinct metallic blue tones, and when worked in a reducing flame, the result is a deep sea green. Because it is more saturated than Irrid, Turquesa can be used for thin blown work. Try using it as a surface on opaque glasses to create new effects.
