This is a dark purple. This opaque purple uses chrome-based technology but has no cracking issues. It is excellent for blowing and stringer applications. It is heat and flame sensitive and must therefore be heated slowly to prevent boiling. If the flame is not oxidizing enough, gray and brown streaks will form on the surface.
