A very dense black with silver. Can produce a mirror with a blue metallic finish or, through over-reduction, an organic-earthy tone. To keep the color most vibrant, work to completion in a super-oxidizing environment. Then turn down the flame and bathe the piece for a few seconds in a super-reducing flame to achieve the mirror shine. For another great effect, encase it with clear glass.
